This was Aeron keeper of Wrath's story. His angel was sent to observe the Lords then kill Aeron because he brought a demon, Legion from hell. This was one of my least favorite stories, because of how the triangle was set up was just stupid. The whole Legion story angle just ruined this one for me. The side stories & characters Gideon, Gilly, William were fun and I did like the Olivia character. It redeemed itself in the end and several story threads that have been woven thru the series were revealed further. There was some closure for some of the fallen Lords in the end but the HEA seemed a little rushed. Hints of Paris' book was revealed and excited most about that upcoming issue. Not really looking forward to the next installment which is DARKEST LIE, since everything poor Gideon sez is the opposite. Did pick up the anthology that has DARKEST ANGEL, Lysander and Bianka's story since I felt like I was missing series information.
