I LOVE this series. I'll admit that this was one of the harder series for me to get into in the beginning but Mz Harrison builds an awesome alternative universe. Her special paranormal creatures are definitely "out of the box" and creative. Trying to do this without spoilers... This edition of the Hollows brings many of the past supporting characters back. Someone is kidnapping the Rosewood syndrome witch babies and Rachel investigates with Trent and Quinn along with her sidekick Jenks. As usual this leads to more involvement with the demons again and all of their politics. Funny how Rachel is always trying to save their butts and they are always trying to kill her. I like that Rachel seems to be growing into her powers and making less "Rachel oops" spells. Trent and her seem to be working more on the same side lately. Very emotional highs and lows and sad moments too. Love the humor that is woven into the story, no one can swear slang like a pixie. Plenty of "Tink's ...." moments and always a favorite, the "cookie maker" references made at the elves. More back story on the elf and demon war. Some storyline wrap ups and deeper character development and discoveries and an ending that leads to some future storyline possibilities.
