This last edition of the Sookie series is hard to review. I really really wanted it to go out with a bang, but it was more like a pfffftt... I guess "simple is as simple does" and our gal Sookie is just a simple girl to the core. Everyone comes to help Sookie out when she is framed for murder and we get an episode of "where are they now" as they pop in and pop out until we can check each character off the list. This was more of a tie up and update on all of Sookie's relationships including all of her boyfriends of the past. At least she gets a pretty nice windfall and she can afford to get her house sprayed for bugs which was her biggest concern, really? The biggest twist is who is Sookie gonna end up with in the end... So all in all it was a nice book, but due to sentimental reasons its a generous 3.
