Not a big fan of this edition. Harper was brought in to investigate the validity of a university experience of creating an artificial poltergeist. The experiment activity increases, a member is killed and Harper spends most of the book running around interviewing in a "who coulda done it" style. Just came across as a pretty boring read for me as she goes between investigating and discovering more about the "grey" and how she sees and can manipulate time layers there. My problem was that every time she makes a discovery she has to run to Ben and Mara for help or an opinion, then she runs to the vamp Carlos for his take and assistance. Not sure if I'll continue with this series or not.
