This started off as another great adventure in Midnight Bay but past all the action and mysterious forces that haunted the shores the romance fizzled for me. I'd have to give it a 3.5, started a strong 4, but I didn't feel the Fiona and Trace love or even attraction that our lead characters usually have in a Chapman book. Mac /Max Oceanus is next, anxious to see how that one plays out.
